People, places and the positive transformation of neighbourhoods — Plus harvest Development

PHD (Plus Harvest Developments) is a major partnership of 16 developing housing associations. Established in 2005, PHD has invested in excess of £125m, securing almost £60m grant to widen the supply and choice of homes in rural and urban environments across the North West region.

Members share their expertise in regeneration, development, affordable home ownership and neighbourhood investment to create stunning, eco–friendly homes in great neighbourhoods where people choose to live, work, learn and play.

Driven by quality, innovation and delivery, PHD breathes new life and opportunity into some of the region’s most challenging neighbourhoods.

"PHD is a key development partner of the HCA and has a track record of delivery within challenging conditions. During the peak of the market down turn, PHD reacted proactively and was one of the first regional partners to respond, negotiating a tailored package with the HCA to ensure that development activity continued and affordable housing targets were met. PHD has repeatedly demonstrated to us that its commitment goes far beyond meeting targets and creating homes; it is about people, places and the positive transformation of neighbourhoods, an aspiration the HCA actively shares and promotes."
